A typical beginner instrument is often not built well, difficult to keep in tune, and hard to play. As certified teachers and luthiers, we understand the specific traits of an instrument that will make your learning experience enjoyable and give you confidence in what you play.
At Plum Grove, our rental program offers handcrafted, easy-to-play instruments. While typical rental programs offer only entry-level instruments, we are known for providing beautiful rentals that look and sound better! Such instruments cost over a thousand dollars but are available for you to learn on for a low monthly cost. This rental payment is put on your account and may be used toward the purchase of an instrument. 100% of your rental payments may be used for up to a 50% discount off an instrument, case, and bow. This is not a rent-to-own program, and the instrument may be returned anytime without obligation to purchase an instrument from us.

Regular Monthly Rental Rates
The full amount of every rental payment made applies to the purchase. Plum Grove will apply 100% of your rental fees towards up to 50% of the purchase price of any full-size violin, viola, cello, or bass sold from our shop.
